No matter who you are, or what you do, (unless you have someone else to take care of you and your stuff) you will have them. The thing is whether ot not you can take care of it your self right?

Somethings yes, some no.

For the last, oh 2 months or so, I’ve been down to one of 3 computers. see computers from hell I did get the Lunix box fixed, or I wouldn’t be able to relate this to you now, but I’ve been sitting on the others. The Windows box that I usualy use for gamming, I relizetoday that I had stored a number of forms and backup files that I needed on it. Stuff that could only be run on Windows because of macro’s and file formats.

So yesterday I decided to again work on the problem and get back into the computer for that information. After a few hours of trial and error, I got the dam thing to at least start up again. But all the fiddling around messed up the OS. So even though I could get it to turn on again, I still couldn’t get into my files.

Today I finally gave up and formatted the main drive. It took 5 attempts to install XP. Now I’m having the fun of trying to find all the programs that I used.

Thats not to mention that I have to recreate my bookmarks and files.

I just hope that the files I need are on the backup drive and were not in the my diocuments folder.

Now we have a sick rabit in the house!
